Hello and welcome back to Thai weekly words with me, Prathana. This week, we will be learning about Clothes, เสื้อผ้า (sûuea phâa). |
1. เสื้อยืด (sûuea yûuet) "t-shirt" |
พี่ชายชอบใส่แต่เสื้อยืด (phîi chaai châawp sài dtàae sûuea yûuet) "My brother only likes wearing t-shirt." |
2. กางเกง (gaang-geeng) "pants" |
พี่สาวชอบใส่กางเกงมากกว่ากระโปรง (phîi săao châawp sài gaang-geeng mâak gwàa grà-bproong) "My older sister likes wearing pants more than skirts." |
3. กางเกงยีน (gaang-geeng yiin) "jeans" |
กางเกงยีนเป็นที่นิยมในหมู่วัยรุ่น (gaang-geeng yiin bpen thîi ní-yom nai mùu wai rûn) "Jeans are popular among young people." |
4. เสื้อสเวตเตอร์ (sûuea sa-wét-thôoe) "sweater" |
เสื้อสเวตเตอร์ตัวนี้ทำจากขนสัตว์ (sûuea sa-wét-thôoe dtuua níi tham jàak khŏn sàt) "This sweater is made of wool." |
5. แขนยาว (khăaen yaao) "long sleeve" |
วันนี้อากาศร้อนเกินกว่าจะใส่เสื้อแขนยาว (wan níi aa-gàat ráawn gooen gwàa jà sài sûuea khăaen yaao) "Today is too hot to wear long-sleeved shirt." |
