John: If you go to a meeting with people you haven’t met before, would you need to give them a business card? I know that business cards are necessary in some countries, is it the same in Thailand? |
Anutida: Yes, it is. You should always have business cards with you if you go to a meeting or conference. |
John: Are they that important? |
Anutida: Yes, they are. There are a few rules about handling business cards too. |
John: What are those? |
Anutida: When you receive a business card, you should look at it carefully and safely put it away in your wallet. |
John: What should you do with your business card? If there are several people at the meeting, who do you give it to? |
Anutida: You should first give it to the most senior, or most important person in the meeting. |
