Cultural Insight |
Eric: Now it's time for a quick cultural insight. |
Jay: When you introduce yourself casually, you can omit the subject phǒm or dì-chǎn. For example, you can say sà-wàt-dii khà. rá-win-phaawn khà without saying phǒm or dì-chǎn. But when you meet someone for the very first time, always be sure to use formal Thai. |
