What is the ooe vowel here?

I got this word today as the word of the day from thaipod101.
So here is the word:
การเดินทาง
I am just learning the alphabet and so each time I get such a word, I sound it out and try to guess its pronunciation. Usually I'm a little wrong, and that's fine. The pronunciation for this one is "gaan dooen thaang". Based on its apparent spelling I thought it would be "ga ra di thang", which is a pretty bad guess. Anyhow, so we see this ooe vowel:
เดิน
It looks like "e", but I have never seen this ooe vowel before. Thaipod101 does not seem to even teach about vowels, all I found was this: http://www.thaipod101.com/thai-alphabet/
Online, nobody mentions this ooe vowel. Has anyone seen a comprehensive list of thai vowels? How can I learn the language when they keep making up new vowels?

Thank you vey much for your comment. For your question, the thaipod alphabet videos do teach the vowels. Also the page that you linked to does include the vowel เออ or เ-ิ , but it is romanized with əə instead of "ooe". Hope that helps.
